Ustadha Aathea is a dedicated student and educator in Arabic and Islamic sciences. Her journey began in the UK before she embarked on further studies in Yemen. In Tarim, she received invaluable teachings from esteemed female scholars, both privately and at Dar al Zahra (women's madrassa). Ustadha Aathea is a proud graduate of Micro Madrassa under the guidance of Sheikh Ibrahim Osi-Efa and Sheikh Haroon Hanif. Her dedication extends beyond traditional studies as she actively engages in teaching self-development, conducting workshops, and public speaking within the Islamic framework.

In addition to her Islamic studies, Ustadha Aathea holds a degree in law and a postgraduate degree in education. With a firm commitment to lifelong learning and mentorship, she prioritises nurturing her students' growth and development. Ustadha Aathea also leads and manages programmes at JMGH Masjid in Sheffield, where she empowers sisters and enriches the community through various initiatives. She believes in imparting not only knowledge but also instilling principles of balanced living, spirituality, and personal well-being. In her leisure time, Ustadha Aathea generously shares her insights on these topics, empowering others to find clarity and fulfilment in their lives.
